Current position

An indefinite ceasefire between the Indian government and NSCN-IM has held since 1997, and a Framework Agreement setting out principles for a final settlement was signed in 2015. As of the most recent reporting found for this bundle, no final comprehensive political accord had been concluded, after around 600 rounds of negotiations over 27 years.[1]
