Journalistic reporting on the 29 December 2023 tripartite peace accord between the pro-talks ULFA faction, the Indian government and the Assam government, its terms, and the widely cited figure of around 10,000 deaths attributed to Assam insurgency-related violence since 1979, presented here as a reported figure rather than an independently verified count; the hardline ULFA-Independent faction was not party to this accord.
