Current position

The Bodoland Territorial Region operates as an expanded autonomous administrative body under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution following the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord. The Assam government has characterized this accord as ending the demand for a separate Bodoland state.[1]
