Covers the 1921 proclamation of the Tuvan People's Republic (Tannu Tuva), its recognition only by the Soviet Union (1924) and Mongolia (1926), and its 11 October 1944 incorporation into the Soviet Union as an autonomous oblast of the RSFSR at the request of Tuva's Small People's Khural, formalised at that body's final session on 1 November 1944.
