Data compilation, consulted via citation, of published Haitian Revolution death-toll estimates: one frequently cited figure of roughly 345,000-350,000 total deaths (about 200,000 among Haitian slaves), and a separate estimate of 100,000 of 500,000 Black Haitians and 24,000 of 40,000 white colonists killed before the fighting ended; no single figure is treated as authoritative, and deaths from disease (yellow fever and smallpox epidemics) are noted alongside combat and massacre deaths.
