What happened
In November 2020 the Frente POLISARIO announced its withdrawal from the ceasefire and said it was resuming armed struggle.[1] The Secretary-General described continuing low-intensity hostilities in 2024–2025, including reported firing at Moroccan positions and alleged drone strikes east of the berm.[2]
