Kosovo and Serbia reached a further EU-facilitated normalisation agreement, under which Serbia committed not to oppose Kosovo's international-organisation membership.
What happened
On 27 February 2023, Kosovo and Serbia reached an EU-facilitated "Agreement on the Path to Normalisation" in Brussels, followed on 18 March 2023 by an Implementation Annex agreed in Ohrid, North Macedonia, under which Serbia committed not to oppose Kosovo's membership of international organisations and both sides agreed to recognise each other's national symbols, documents and other identifiers.[1]
