What happened
On 3 August 2015, the Government of India and NSCN-IM signed the Naga Framework Agreement, a statement of agreed principles intended to provide the political basis for a later comprehensive final accord, rather than a peace settlement in itself.[1]
As of reporting found for this bundle, negotiations had continued for around 27 years and approximately 600 rounds since the 1997 ceasefire, without producing a final comprehensive accord.[2]
