After the 1991 uprising and the Iraqi administration’s withdrawal, the Kurdistan Front held elections that created a regional assembly and government.
What happened
After the 1991 uprising and the withdrawal of the Iraqi administration, the Kurdistan Front held elections on 19 May 1992.[1][2] The assembly convened by 15 July 1992 and the Kurdistan Regional Government was established.[2]
