No party won a majority; the KDP and PUK had not formed a new government by mid-August 2026.
What happened
The KDP won 39 seats, the PUK 23 and the New Generation Movement 15.[1] The new parliament first met on 2 December 2024, but in June 2026 the tenth cabinet had still not been formed.[2][3]
