Demokraatit won the most votes; four of the five main parties sought independence at different speeds.
What happened
Demokraatit took 29.9% and 10 of 31 seats, ahead of Naleraq with 24.5% and 8 seats.[1] Four of the five main parties favoured independence but disagreed on its timing and method.[2] Jens-Frederik Nielsen formed a four-party coalition on 28 March 2025.[3]
