What happened
Nawaz Khan Naji founded his own Balawaristan National Front on 28 December 1989; the movement split, with Abdul Hamid Khan's 1995 BNF(H) taking a secessionist position and Naji's BNF(N) restricting its demands to autonomy within Pakistan.[1]
